I am a bit confused about manually adding a zipped file to VW. Every place I try to add it it does not show up either in the workspace options or the Plug-in manager.
when you download the zip file from the web site, make sure it does not automatically un-zip. macintoshes have a habit of unzipping the file for you, then Vectorworks won’t see it.
then, go to the menu bar and choose Tools > Plug-ins > Plugin Manager.
on the plugin manager, the 3rd Party Plug-ins tab, then click on the install button.
