Use Colors for Line Weights – For long time I have used a combination of line weights and line colors for drawing. Having colors on my lines that represent line weights allows me to look at my drawing and see what line weights I have used in my drawings.

You can turn on Zoom line thickness, but this means it you have to zoom in and in order to see the thicker lines. Using colors to help you understand your line weights means that you can look at an elevation drawing, for example, and you can see where you’ve used light or heavy line weights.
