I had always created my dormers as I did roofs, then editing the roofs and adding walls etc. I somehow just discovered this easier way to do this, however it seems that you have to use a particular kind of window to create the dormer (3D window symbol). So I am then having trouble changing the windows in the dormer. Is it true that all windows in these created dormers have to be symbols, and that the walls, windows, etc., don’t just become independent objects??
