Solar Animation.You can use the same techniques that you used with the static viewports, but you can use them to create a dynamic solar animation.

So, you still have to create the 3-D model, set up the view, and use the Heliodon tool to place the sun.
If you select a Heliodon object, on the Object Info palette you will find the solar animation button. This is how you create a solar animation.
