I was trying to create a roof recently and I was having trouble selecting the walls. When you create a roof, the walls have to form a closed shape.

Then I remembered that there is a new command in Vectorworks called Select Connected Objects.
Use this technique whenever you have objects that are awkward to select, but are connected.
Vectorworks will select all the objects that connect. Connected object have to connect end to end. Objects that do not connect end-to-end will NOT be selected.
