podcast 107 – New Tool Selection Option Vectorworks 2010

When you use tools in Vectorworks 2010 that require an object be selected, there is a new option to select objects, without leaving the tool. I must say, i wasnt that happy about this change at first. Ive gotten used to it now, and I say, Thanks NNA. Thats much better!

Many times I have tried to use the offset, mirror or rotate tools, and Ive forgotten to choose the object. Now its easy to select the object in the middle of using these tools. I reckon you will save a few minutes a day with this alone.
