podcast 203 – Quick Solar Study

Solar studies seem to be getting more popular with building professionals and building authorities. I am hearing a lot of my clients are being asked to provide a solar study showing the effect of their building on the surrounding properties. Of course the other reason to use a solar study is to see the effect of those surrounding buildings on your project.

In this movie I have a project already created and the viewport already created. From this I show you how to create a study using different lights for each season of the year. Once you have the first viewport created it is very quick to create the remaining viewports. You can use the visualization palette to control the lights in each viewport.
