I have been working on a visualization project for a client this week. I'm surprised…
Quick Preferences
In later versions of Vectorworks you can access quick preferences from the toolbar. In Vectorworks 2013 they have increased the number of preferences that you can access from this area. But that is not the only way that you can create quick preferences. Prior to this, you would create quick preferences by writing a small script which would sit in a floating palette.
I have created a set of quick preferences that you can use on different versions of Vectorworks. The scripts are also able to be edited and customized to suit your way of working. The scripts also access areas that the Vectorworks quick preferences do not. For example, there are scripts that allow you to change the options inside the snapping palette to suit the way you like to work.
