The 2D work was useful, the 3D works was better, but not easy to count. Now we can look at a method that is quicker to create the information and easier to count.

The only thing with this method is that you have to have Vectorworks Architect or Designer. If you have Vectorworks Landmark you do not have access to the tools and commands that I use to make the joists and bearers quickly.

This technique uses the framing member and the Create Joists from Ploy… command.
