image085There are many times when you drawing linear objects in Vectorworks where you do not want to have solid line. In this case you would want to use a Line Type. There are two sorts of line types, simple (dashed) and complex (lines with graphic editions). This image shows several different line types. You will notice that the line types can be simple dashed lines or they can be more complex like batt insulation or footprints.
