What if you have a template file set up, but some of the settings, or symbols need to be edited. Actually, it is easy.

  • Open your template file.
  • Select the objects you want to delete, or locate the object in the Resource Browser
  • Delete of edit the objects
  • Go to the Menu bar.
  • Choose File > Save as Template…
  • Save your template to the Vectorworks Templates folder.
