Creating Textures. There are two main methods to create textures; images and shaders.
Images are where you import an image into Vectorworks as a texture, and Vectorworks copies the image across the object, repeating the image to fill the object (called tiling).
A Shader is where Vectorworks uses a mathematical version of a texture to create the image across the object. Because it uses mathematics, shader do not need to tile to fill the objects, the maths does it for you.
