A friend of mine showed me this trick the other day. It lets you search an entire web page for a word or phrase that you want. An example of this would be looking through my home page. You don’t want to read the descriptions of 50 manuals to find what you want.

Open the web site you want to search.

Use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+F (windows) or Command+F (Macintosh). This will open a search area to look for information.

Type in the phrase or word you want to search for. If the word is located on the web site, the page will scroll so you can see the word. Your web browser will highlight the word for you.

Continue typing to narrow the search criteria. This should help you to find the anything on a web page.
