Texture From Image. Creating a texture from an image allows you to make any texture that you want. You can scan an object, a logo, you can use a digital photo or you can make up an image in Photoshop.

The trick to make sure your texture looks good after it is tiled. Tiling is where the image repeats horizontally and vertically. If the image you start with does not tile well, you will see a terrible texture.
