Dimensions in 3D. 3-D dimensions are really only possible in Vectorworks 2012. The reason for this is the Vectorworks 2012 onwards dimensions are considered to be planar objects. This allows you to place a dimension of an object in 3-D and have the dimensions display correctly.
Font Mapping. Sometimes you receive a Vectorworks file that contains fonts that you do not have in your computer. Vectorworks then tries to manage the missing font to one that you already have in your computer. This is called font mapping.
When you open a file that uses fonts that are not on your computer, Vectorworks will use font mapping to map the missing font to a font that you have on your computer.
Center Line Marker. The Center Line Marker really only has one useful function, and that is to place a center in your drawing.
