If you have to edit wall locations, this technique is fast and accurate. It uses the Move by Points tool. This tool seems to be forgotten by many users, maybe because they don’t know it is there, they don’t know when to use it, or how to use it.

I like the Move by Points tool, but I do not use it very often to move walls in a building. I usually use the associate dimensions to move the walls, but that is not always the best way. Using Move by Points has three modes, and two of them are suitable for relocating walls.
Unlike the other technique, this one only works on selected walls. This might sound less productive, but it does allow you to select several walls and move them all at once. When you need to relocate several walls, this is the fastest way to do it.
