Vectorworks has always been very good at editing the objects you draw. In this post I would like to look at editing wall locations, using Associative Dimensioning.

Associative dimensioning is a basic concept in Vectorworks and it associates the dimensions to the objects. If you move the walls, the dimensions update. That is reasonably straight-forward and productive. But is also works the other way, where you can edit the dimension and the wall moves.
If the walls are connected then this technique can be very powerful.
