Special Interest Group – Vectorworks Vectorscript

Due to requests from users, i have added a Special Interest Group to look at Vectorscript. Vectorscript is a programming language built into Vectorworks that allows you to add new tools and commands. The first session will be in August.

The special interest groups will start with programming basics so that users can gradually get used to programming before we create any complex scripts. When I first leaned Vectorscript I had no understanding what should be good practice. I was then very fortunate to get some lessons from a master, Julian Carr, the author of windoor.
The aim of these sessions is to unlock the mystery of Vectorscript. Creating your own simple scripts can save you hours over a year, and some scripts are useful for several years.
