Creating a viewport from a 3D model.
You can make elevations drawings from 3D model.
If you have a 3D model, you can use this to make drawings. Our exercise is to make this 3D model into two drawings using sheet layers and viewports.
When you draw objects in VectorWorks they are automatically assigned to the active layer and class. But if you draw the object in the wrong layer you can use the Object Info Palette to change this.
The class that you are currently working in is called the Active Class. The active class is shown on the class button, located on the View Bar.
You can use the Organization dialog box, the Navigation Palette, or the contextual menu to control layers and classes.
