The eye dropper tool is used to pick up the attributes of one object and put those attributes down on one or more other objects. You can pick up the graphic attributes by setting the options to pick up the graphics.

This commnad allows you to select objects and line them up based on thier location, but this command uses the selected objects as the controlling obejct, the other object will line with the object that you right-click on.
This is not the only way to do this (cehck out tip 349 comming later) but it is one way. The challange is to get an object to turn the corner. If you extrude an object, split it, then mirror it, you can create teh object you want.
When you join walls, there is a huge difference between walls joined with Auto Join turned off and walls joined with Auto Join turned on. Make sure you use the correct option for your work.
In its most simplest terms, BuildingInformation Modeling allows you to create plans, sections, and details from the 3-D model of your project, along with reports on the objects in the project (number of plants, the areas of landscape, the areas of hardscape, etc.)
Beginner – If the dimension witness lines (the lines that go down to the object) are not the way you want, use the Selection tool to adjust them.
Beginner – When you import a PDF file, you sometimes find that the PDF has too much information on it. The solution is to crop out the areas that are not required.
Beginner – Even if you get the dimension line in the correct location, you might want to move the dimension text. Use the Selection tool to relocate the dimension text to the required location.
Beginner – Some PDF files also carry vector information, which means that you can snap to the information. However, when you import a PDF file the Snap to Geometry is not active by default. Use the Object Info palette to activate that option.
