1712 End-of-Year Wrap-Up At this time of the year it is always interesting to look back at the topics that we have covered. Some of these topics are brand-new, while others are updates of previous years. Vectorworks 2017 introduced some new tools and techniques, topics that we covered earlier in the year….
In this session, we covered importing a SketchUp chair into a Vectorworks file, discussed some of the changes to the Subdivision Modeling modes in Vectorworks 2018, and highlighted some stair tricks and tips, such as making a simple stair into a site modifier and quickly creating a custom stair.
In this session, we briefly looked at counting impermeable surfaces, showed how to work with stepped site modifiers on a site model, and created a fence with columns instead of posts.
In this session, we showed the flexibility and importance of using object styles in projects, reviewed how to create a slab for a complex set of walls—including adding slab drainage—and discussed setting up interior elevations.
