Business Card Scanner – SamCard-Business Card Reader

I thought I would try out another another business card scanner to see if my results were any better than the last one. Part of the challenge with business card scanners is the graphic design of the business cards, they are not always consistent.

Another thing I have noticed about business card scanners is that they do not seem to be available for the iPad, just the iPhone. One of the important things that seems to be giving me trouble with my business card scanning is the crumpled nature of my business cards. When somebody gives me a business card I quite often put it in my pocket. This tends to crumple increase the business card which makes it difficult for the scanner to recognize the letters and words correctly. The best thing would be to scan the card while it is still new and fresh.
