Each month we have a series of online webinars based around the short sharp training…
Interactive Workshops December 2014 (1412) – Wrap-Up for 2014
At the end of each year we traditionally have a wrap-up of all the topics that we have covered. This gives us an opportunity to have a look at the manuals that we have covered this year as well as changes that we have made to the website or other parts of the subscription. In previous years we have used this opportunity to look at the manuals as well as what topics we should cover the following year, what changes we should make to the manuals and what new special-interest groups we should be thinking of.
One change I have made this year is a change to the format of the manuals so they fit better on a large smartphone. The Nexus, Samsung S5, and the iPhone 6+ all have a much larger screen than previously. I have changed the formatting of my manuals so that they fit better on these new phones. There seems to be an increase in the number of people using these phones instead of using a tablet device. Of course changing the formatting of the manuals to fit better on a phone does not affect the way the manuals appear on a computer screen. Changing the format of the manuals has reduced the number of pages in each manual because I can get more information on each page.
If you have been attending although monthly workshop sessions it is likely you will not find any new information here. If you have not been attending the monthly sessions throughout the year, then this is a good way to see what you have missed.
