Interactive Workshops November 2014 (1411) – Introduction to Walls

It doesn’t matter if you are creating architecture, landscaping, set design or 3D modelling, drawing walls is important. The purpose of this manual is to cover all of the major techniques of drawing, editing, and managing walls. You might think that drawing walls requires nothing more than a couple of clicks. While you can certainly draw walls with a couple of clicks, there is a lot more to walls than that. These workshops looked in depth at how to draw, edit and manage walls.

 
We will start by looking at simple walls and the techniques for drawing quickly and effectively. We will then look at editing walls in 2D and 3D but still using simple walls. We will then look at complex walls that use components in the walls to represent different structural and finishing parts of the wall, including looking at how to connect these components to story settings. Finally will look at how to store your wall styles in a library.
